Wood-look tile floor in a remodeled bathroom

New flooring

Every trade. One team.

Questions

Before you call.

What flooring holds up best in Collin County homes?
Wood-look porcelain tile and luxury vinyl plank handle dogs, kids and humidity swings best. Hardwood and engineered wood are beautiful in living areas but need a stable slab and a little more care.
How long does a flooring installation take?
A single room typically takes one to three days. Whole-home installs most often run one to two weeks depending on the material, with tile taking longer than plank.
Do I need to move out during the install?
Rarely. We work room by room and move furniture as we go, so you keep use of most of the house. Whole-home tile is the one case where a few nights elsewhere makes the job faster.
Can you put hardwood on a concrete slab?
Yes, with engineered hardwood glued to a properly prepared slab, or solid hardwood over a plywood subfloor. We moisture test the slab first, since North Texas slabs can hold moisture after a wet spring.
